The colors of cancer

Cancer effects everyone in some way or another, which is why spreading cancer awareness is so important to us all. One way to spread cancer awareness is to promote the different colors of cancer. Whether you yourself have cancer and are undergoing treatment or are a cancer survivor or just know someone with cancer, it is a serious problem we may all have to face one day in some form or another. There is a large variety of different types of cancers and over time most forms of cancer have been designated a color to represent it. Below is a list of colors and which cancers they represent.

  • Light Blue Prostate Cancer
  • Dark Blue Colon Cancer

  • Yellow Bladder Cancer / Sarcoma
  • Emerald Green Liver Cancer
  • Black Melanoma
  • Pearl & Clear Lung Cancer
  • Purple Pancreatic / Leiomyosarcoma

The above cancer awareness colors are accepted as legitimate by their particular organizations. Not all cancers have a designated color, therefore “Lavender” is accepted for all other forms of cancers.
